“Flourishing and Emotional Well-Being” Keynote Address

The Consortium of Emotional Well-Being Networks held its 2nd Annual Investigator Meeting on March 27, 2023. This meeting provided an opportunity for principal investigators to share accomplishments, research findings, approaches to network outreach, and plans for future growth of the field of emotional well-being.

The keynote address, “Flourishing and Emotional Well-Being” by Dr. Tyler VanderWeele, director, Human Flourishing Program, Harvard University, discussed concepts, definitions, and measures of both flourishing and emotional well-being and presented empirical evidence showing that emotional well-being is an important determinant of other aspects of flourishing. The talk was followed by a Q&A.
